China's Excavator Sales Increased by 9.27% Year-on-year in March 2024

According to the statistics of major excavator manufacturers by China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 24,980 excavators of various types were sold in March 2024, a year-on-year decrease of 2.34%, of which 15,188 were domestic, a year-on-year increase of 9.27%; 9,792 units were exported, down 16.2% year-on-year.

From January to March 2024, a total of 49,964 excavators were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 13.1%; Among them, 26,446 units were domestic, a year-on-year decrease of 8.26%; 23,518 units were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 17.9%. 

In March 2024, 12 electric excavators (8 units below 6 tons, 1 unit from 10 to 18.5 tons, 1 unit from 18.5 to 28.5 tons, and 2 units above 40 tons) were sold.
