I. Nitrogen Standards & Inspection
1. Standard Pressure: Refer to the Table below for model-specific pressure settings at room temperature.
2. Initial Check: Every SLYM breaker is pre-set at the factory, but pressure must be verified before the first operation.
3. Frequency:
Back Head: Inspect every 2 weeks.
Accumulator: Inspect every month (Standard: 55-60 Bar).

II. How to Check N2 Pressure
1. Setup: Remove the valve cap (counter-clockwise). Secure the 3-way nitrogen gauge, tighten the nut, and ensure the bleed valve is closed.
2. How to Check Nitrogen Pressure (Refer to the diagram)
For Back Head
1) Preparation: Remove the nitrogen valve cap from the back head (counter-clockwise). Tighten the 3-way valve (clockwise) and ensure the nitrogen gauge nut is secured. Close the bleed valve (relief valve).
2) Reading the Gauge: Use your palm to press down the switch on the 3-way valve. Observe the reading on the pressure gauge.
3) Adjusting Over-pressure: If the N2 reading is too high, slowly open the bleed valve on the 3-way valve to discharge gas until the pressure reaches the standard specification.
For Accumulator:
1) Preparation: Unscrew the plug (⑨) on the accumulator counter-clockwise. Tighten the nitrogen gauge (clockwise), ensure the nut connection is secure, and verify the bleed valve (relief valve) is closed.
2) Accessing the Valve: Unscrew the accumulator cap nut (⑪) counter-clockwise. Slowly turn the charging valve counter-clockwise until the needle on the nitrogen gauge begins to move.
3)Reading & Adjusting: Observe the gauge reading. If the pressure exceeds the 60-bar limit, slowly open the bleed valve on the gauge to discharge excess gas until it reaches the standard range.
4) Securing: Close the charging valve (clockwise) and securely tighten the cap nut (⑪).
III. How to Refill Nitrogen (N2) Gas (Refer to the diagram)
1. Connection: Connect the high-pressure hose between the nitrogen cylinder and the nitrogen gauge interface.
2. Refilling Process: Slowly open the nitrogen cylinder valve (counter-clockwise). Monitor the gauge closely.
3. Purity Protocol: Use the "3-Charge & 3-Discharge" principle—fill and release a small amount three times to purge air and ensure 100% N2 purity.
4. Finalizing: Close all valves clockwise, remove the hose, and securely tighten all protective caps and nuts.
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNINGS
Bolt Safety: NEVER remove through-bolts (tie-rods) or the accumulator cover before completely discharging the nitrogen gas.
Gas Type: Use ONLY pure Nitrogen (N2). Compressed air, oxygen, or flammable gases can cause malfunctions or internal explosions.
Teardown Rule: When replacing more than two through-bolts or disassembling the main body, you must discharge the gas in the back head first.
Maintenance: If the accumulator cannot hold pressure (55-60 bar), contact your SLYM dealer to check the internal diaphragm.
